    | Fabrication categories are the building blocks of your estimate. Prior to doing a takeoff, you
create a category for the different types of fabrication in the
      estimate.
(beams, columns, trusses, wind-bracing, roof frames, elevator hoist beams,
mezzanine framing, conveyor framing, steel stairs, rails, etc.) Each category is defined as to
material specifications, finish and installation requirements. By taking
      off into the fabrication
categories, the material grade and finish are automatically applied.
Fabrication categories allow you to create individual summaries
      as well as a grand
total summary of the selected categories. | |
